Comment posted How can I find the value of vintage knitting needles and crochet hooks? Anyone know of Bucilla needles? by Heather R.
Bucilla (the company) is no longer in business. They were bought out by Plaid Corp. Try their website. (apparently they no longer carry hooks and needles) http://www. plaidonline. com/home. asp
You can also take your needles in to a good yarn shop and someone may know if they’re worth anything. Or try e-bay and see if you can find similar ones and see what they are selling for.
But since there are a lot of hooks and needles available I don’t think they are worth as much in monetary value as they are in sentimental value.

- I have to say that everyone’s old granny has them tucked away somewhere. I have been to many fairs and events where they sit looking miserable as people pass them by, unless: they are hallmarked silver, old ivory, and fancy designs in pewter/bronze and so on, and even then it will be a small number of specialist collectors. Sorry, I haven’t heard of Bucilla needles.

- - Set of 6 Santa Ornaments Felt Applique Kit – 6-1/4″X5″
very high quality product. I’ve completed a a few of the Santa Ornaments already and everyone is amazed at how beautiful they are. The detailing is challenging but fun. The instructions are easy to follow and accurate. I highly recommend these ornaments for anyone who enjoys a beautiful craft product and a challenge.

I bought this item thinking that I would be sewing a few ornaments together and attaching the lights. You have to put EVERYTHING together. It’s a lot of work, but so far (I’m not yet finished) it’s very pretty and I think I’ll be proud to have something that I can take out every year for my little one that was made by me. I do wish they gave you more room to cut out the items on the felt though, as they are very close together and hard to get at.

Like the previous poster, I thought that it required some assembly. . . but in reality it is A LOT of work. Also, there are not enough supplies to finish it. I called the company and they are sending out what I needed, but it’s been over a week and I still don’t have the thread. And you have to buy your own batting and dowel rod with a finial to complete it, so it does not come with everything you need. I can’t wait until I’m done with it so I can use it. (Christmas is less than a week away!!!) I will definitely admire it when it’s done. It’s coming along nicely, and I know the kids will love it, so I think it’s worth all of the hard work.

I bought this stocking to make for my granddaughter’s first Christmas. I made stockings for both of my children back in the 1980’s. The finshed result of this stocking is absolutely beautiful but it probably took me 20+ hours to finish. It is so much more elaborate than the previous stockings that I did for my children. It is worth the time I put into it, but if you order this stocking, allow at least a few weeks to finish it.

I received this so quickly from Amazon. This snowman ‘Chef” turned out so cute. It wasn’t too difficult and I was able to personalize it and make it a very special gift from the heart.
